Bloc Studios’ new marble collections

One of the first projects we saw this week was a new collection by Bloc Studios, for which the Carrara-based studio collaborated with three of our favorite designers.

During the last Milano Design Week, Alcova has been the showcase of the beautiful new marble collections created by Bloc Studios in collaboration with three young protagonists of the international design landscape. By always working with cutting edge international designers, Bloc Studios’ creations follow an innovative vision of marble that enhances its functional design beyond industrial applications. With Valentina Cameranesi Sgroi, Nick Ross and Objects of Common Interest Bloc Studios created three new series that showed up for their innovative shapes and colors combinations.
As for a long term collaboration, we supported the brand on the press office side, dealing with the national and international press to ensure the best editorial exposure. Journalists from all over the world have been invited to visit the suggestive installation set at Alcova and the feedback has been surprising, both on the press and social media side, ensuring to the project a viral coverage.
